There's over 15 feet of track in this small area without looking overcrowded. The spur provides an area to support passengers or industry. Kato N scale UniTrack has integrated roadbed that keeps the track together until you want to disassemble it. The track and switches are plug'n'play ready with the Kato SX Power Pack (Not Included). Plug and Play adaptors are included for non-Kato power packs with lug & screw sets. (MRC, Athearn, Model Power, etc) The use of the medium radius curves within the footprint, allows 40-50 foot box cars to look more prototypical and show less track when negotiating these medium curves.
